For Many NCAA Teams, It's Do or Die Time



A number of teams in NCAA Division I hockey will see their 2011-12 seasons end this weekend as conference playoffs continue, culminating in next week's championship games and selection to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. The do or die best-of-three segment of the season began/continued tonight with Providence's 5-3 win at UMass-Lowell in the Hockey East Tournament.

Here's a brief look at the matchups (all on campus sites) that will determine who goes on to each league's respective semifinals next weekend, before the final 16 schools are called on Selection Sunday, on March 18 at noon ET on ESPNU:
